No feathers please: Coping with allergies on the road. Business Traveler column: For years I would often awaken in my hotel room to find my eyes swollen shut and my nose clogged. After suffering through this mysterious morning hotel illness for many years I finally discovered the root of my problem:feather pillows and down comforters. Such is the plight of the traveler coping with allergies.
